It is reported that some Herdsmen suspected to be of Fulani Origin attacked villages in Ayilamo, Logo local Government area of Benue State.
Najanews had it that a Local, Mr. Godwin Agia who survive but lost his two brothers said the attackers invaded the community at about 7:am when people were preparing to go to the farm.
He Quotes;
“Herdsmen are attacking our community as we speak now. Two of my brothers have been killed and three others.
“They came since 7:am and up till now they are attacking more villages.
“I can not tell exactly how many people they have killed but the attack is still on”, as he narrated.
Ayilamo is a neighbouring town to the village of the immediate past governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswan who is now the Senator representing Benue North East.
Efforts to comfirm the incident from the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene were not successful as her phone rand out without getting picked.
