The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has condemned the withdrawal of the Department of State Services (DSS) personnel from the security details of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
More News Online recalls that reports making the round on social media had stated that the DSS attached to the Governor were being insulted while carrying out their duty which resulted in DSS headquarters directing a withdrawal of its personnel attached to the governor.
Reacting to the development, Kola Olabisi, the Osun APC Director of Media who spoke on behalf of the Osun Acting APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal insisted that such a decision was a bad omen.

He insisted that the development could lead to hostility to statutory security men who were carrying out their lawful duty. Lawal lamented that the Osun state which once was once peaceful had now become once a theatre of violence and confusion because of the governor and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said, “The beating saga was an indication that Adeleke was seriously bereft of what to do with power as one can’t give what he doesn’t possess. “This is a passing phase in the ugly and most uninteresting political history of our State when absurdities are the characteristics of the PDP government at the helm of affairs.
We are happy that we, in the APC, have been vindicated about the incompetence and ill-preparation of Adeleke to function effectively as a State governor.” While submitting that the truth would soon catch up with the lies of the PDP, Lawal also appealed to the people of the State to remain steadfast.
