The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two young ladies mentioned to be informants and girlfriends of bandits at Maraban-Jos and Rigachikun communities in Igabi Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects, recognized as Hafsat Ibrahim and Rabi Bala, had been arrested alongside one other informant, Bayero Adamu, by men of Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) working within the communities, and handed over to the state police command for additional investigation.

Confirming the arrest, spokesperson of the command, DSP Mohammed Jalige, mentioned all of the suspects have confessed to the crime.
Based on him, the 2 young ladies who had been the bandit’s girlfriends, additionally helped the criminals with arms movement.
“The male suspect has additionally confessed to having participated, along with different gang members, in finishing up operations along the Kaduna-Zaria highway and neighboring communities, however investigation is ongoing,” the PPRO said.
